Seton Hill Innovating Forward through Transformation
Seton Hill Innovating Forward through Transformation (SHIFT) is the name we have given to our Oracle ERP Implementation Project. We will be working through this implementation with the HESS (Higher Education System & Services Consortium) Collective program along with several other cohort schools. SITACom will provide overall governance for SHIFT as we move to transform our technology and processes into best practice.
As we embark on this transformative journey, this website will be used to keep you informed of the progress, milestones, and the incredible team effort driving this initiative forward.
SHIFT represents more than just a technological upgrade; it signifies a shift towards efficiency, integration, and future-readiness across our organization. Join us as we navigate through this exciting chapter together, aiming to enhance operations and empower our people like never before!
We are excited to begin this journey and look forward to the changes it will bring!
Current Modernization Efforts
Human Captial Management (HCM) solutions connect all HR processes, including recruiting, global HR, compensation, benefits, talent management, learning, workforce planning, work-life solutions, time tracking, and payroll. Seton Hill is currently implementing Oracle Cloud HCM which will replace our Paycom system.
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is software that organizations use to manage day-to-day business activities such as accounting, procurement, project management, risk management and compliance, and supply chain operations. Seton Hill is currently implementing Oracle Cloud ERP which will primarily replace our Great Plains/Dynamics system.
A financial aid software solution that manages each student’s financial plan. Seton Hill is currently implementing Oracle Student Financial Aid (SFA) which includes Student Aid Eligibility (SAE) and Student Financial Planning (SFP) to replace our PowerFaids & NetPartner systems.
Oracle Student Management Cloud (SMC) covers admissions, academics, advising, financials, and core frameworks to help student and staff work more efficiently and more effectively by anticipating students’ needs, illuminating their academic path, and empowering them to succeed. Seton Hill is planning to begin implementation of Oracle Student Management Cloud in late 2025.
“If the management of Seton Hill find a way of doing things that is better than their present method, they will replace all of that method or any part of it without scruple, for they are bound by no traditions and they fear nothing but God’s disfavor and the closed mind.”
